Amy Brady & Amber Dalton are Twin sisters hailing from San Antonio Texas who in 2002 founded the PMS Clan, one of the oldest and largest competitive gaming communities for women. It was once the largest clan on the Xbox Live platform and still thrives to this day with thousands of active members.

 

Amy & Amber campaigned and strived to create a safe discrimination-free gaming community for women in esports with the PMS Clan, breaking down barriers of entry and creating easier accessibility for women who want to play video games. 

 

Thanks to these two inspirational people, many women around the world have been able to play and enjoy video games.

Adam Apicella was one of the founding employees of Major League Gaming in 2003, heading up the league operations team for both live and online events. Pushing the limits of live events, he established new heights for the esports industry.

 

After working hundreds of live event programs during his 16 years at Major League Gaming, Adam Apicella moved to Esports Engine where he would sit as CEO. Esports Engine has enabled Adam to keep innovating and defining esports broadcasts to this day.

 

Adam Apicella is a veteran of the esports scene and is responsible for many memorable broadcasts you have seen and many of the broadcasts you will see.

With a 15 year career to date, Carmac is a veteran of the scene having built the Intel Extreme Masters the world’s oldest and most prestigious pro gaming tour taking place in Europe, Asia and North America.

 

Carmac helped put esports on the map and continues to do so as the Vice President of Pro Gaming at ESL, staging incredible events across a multitude of titles.

A five-time world champion in competitive Counter-Strike, and longtime female pro-gaming icon, Stephanie “missharvey” Harvey is now a Director at Counter Logic Gaming. Formerly a game designer for Ubisoft Montreal, Stephanie dedicates much of her time raising awareness for healthy gaming habits, gender equality, and combating online toxicity. Stephanie is the founder of ÉLEVEY – a digital citizenship brand, and runs an esports production company.

She is also currently working with the International Olympic Committee esports group, is a spokesperson for DreamHack Montreal and has her own web series on RDS Jeux Vidéo, “Vie de Pro”. Her 18 years in esports and 7 years as a developer awarded her a Forbes 30 under 30, BBC 100 women and the title of Canada’s Smartest Person Season 3 on CBC.

With a patient defensive style punishing his opponents mistakes, Jwong has been a fearsome competitor throughout his career spanning over 20 years.

 

Jwong has left a lasting legacy in the FGC, due to his early sustained dominance and the longevity of his career. Justin Wong can be considered to be one of the greatest fighting game players of all time.

Dave ‘Walshy’ Walsh is a former professional esports player who started out in 2004, dominating the Halo scene in a career spanning 8 years. Walshy is considered to be one of the greatest Halo players of all time often referred to as Captain Clutch and even setting the record for the most consecutive MLG tournaments won. 

 

Walshy’s career in Halo did not stop there, his love for the game and the competitive scene continued as he moved into casting.

 

Walshy, inspired by his love for gaming, sits on the board of directors for the Gamers Outreach Foundation, a nonprofit organisation that provides equipment, technology and software to help kids cope with treatment inside hospitals.
